AP Archive is looking for a new motivated Account Manager (German speaking) to join our sales team in London.

AP invites applications for the temporary position of Account Manager (Germany), Archive, based at its office in London.

The Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing customer accounts within their sales territory (Germany), and for expanding their customer base. The Account Manager will develop and maintain strong relationships with the customers they manage and will be fully up to speed with their customers’ needs in order to maximize the value of the service that AP can offer.

Some occasional travel to Germany is likely to be required.


·      Managing customer accounts with a view to maximising their value;

·      Responding to clients’ requests for archive research;

·      Delivering monthly and annual sales targets;

·      Organising and attending face-to-face sales meetings with customers;

·      Fielding and responding to incoming sales enquiries with the intent of maximizing their sales potential whilst delivering the best possible service to customers;

·      Being active within the industry to foster networking opportunities and attending trade events;

·      To undertake any other duties or projects at the request of the line manager.                                                                

Knowledge and Experience:

·      Fluency in German & English is essential;

·      Creative and enterprising;

·      High levels of motivation in a sales environment;

·    Adept at deal making and commercially astute;

·      Working well individually and as part of a team.

·      Good communicator with excellent organisational skills;

·      Interest in current affairs, TV production and film archives;

·    An understanding of the German broadcast sector;

·      Proficiency in Microsoft Office;

·    Flexibility to travel and work outside normal office hours according to commercial needs;

·      A second major European language would be advantageous.
