Artisan baker - German Sourdough Breads

Artisan Foods, established in 1997, is a small bakery in Walthamstow, London. We are proud of our handmade products, especially our German style sour dough breads, which we produce from the finest ingredients.

We are seeking a baker to join our team. You will work at least 2 night shift from 20:00 – 04:00. The other shifts will be day or evening.

Your duties will include:

  • Prepare sourdough and dough mixes for bread, pastries, tarts
  • Knead, proof and bake of breads
  • Roll dough for pastries and tarts
  • Assist bakery team with cake preparation
  • Maintain clean and safe environment

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience in artisan bread making methods and long fermentation processes
  • Be able to deliver consistently high quality
  • Be a strong team player
