Objectives of the role

We are looking for an Online Content Coordinator to aid in the coordination and distribution of editorial content towards various online marketing channels (e-mail, blogs, social media, affiliates etc). You will ensure that the content you create engages our users and is optimised for search engines. You will also assist and support all the digital and written marketing communications across Attraction Tickets Direct Germany.

A native German speaker who possesses sufficient English skills to communicate with the different stakeholders in the business; you are comfortable in a fast-paced environment and make personal success, and the success of our company, a priority. You are an all-rounder; understand the need for effective marketing, comfortable with technology and have an interest in e-commerce. You are willing to work hard and want a position where you can have an impact and truly contribute.



·       To attract and retain customers by supporting the creation, curation and distribution of relevant and valuable German language content with the intention of enhancing our online presence and driving loyalty and conversions.

·       To support the day to day running of ATD Germany ensuring that we maximise both marketing and PR opportunities and offer the best customer experience at all times

·       From time to time, support the German team with both telephone sales and enquiries

·       Contribute to ATD being the number 1 in the Florida attractions market in Germany

·       Contribute to our reputation of great expertise and reliability



·       Increase consumer awareness of our brand, what it stands for and the products we sell.

·       Ensure that our brand uses a consistent tone-of-voice that reflects who we are, thus creating a familiar experience that enables our customers to understand us better.

·       Uplift user engagement on the social media platforms through posting fun, informative and / or relevant content.

·       Positively impact conversion.

·       Contribute ideas to the product sales & marketing plan

·       Work with our PR freelancer in Germany to raise awareness of the brand and focus on increasing sales

·       Contribute to the management of our PPC and SEO campaigns which are managed by external agencies

  • Contribute content and coordinate all online marketing channels (Email, Social Media, Search, Affiliates, etc)

·       Develop our email strategy with regular communications to customers with aid of the marketing team


·       Stay up-to-date with theme park and travel related news.


·       Ensure that all content is optimised with keywords, anchor text, URLs, alt text, tags and meta data.

·       Grow and maintain ATG’s social media channels to increase traffic to the blog/video content.

·       Present and layout content onsite and on other social media platforms using best methods for each platform or editorial type.

·       Implement on-page SEO recommendations from our SEO agency.


Commercial support:

·       Contribute to the sales, service, marketing and business development for ATD Germany

·       Contribute to the goals and objectives of the brand and ensure their execution in line with the overall Group’s goals

·       Carry out regular competitor reviews and work together with the product team to ensure that we maintain our number one position and continue to grow


Adhoc support:

·       Support Sales team when on holiday or in high season answering incoming customer sales and service communications, including telephone calls, emails, and letters, from German direct customers

  • Provide exceptional service, ensuring every customer is offered the right products
  • Process bookings, including contact with overseas suppliers


Management & Relationships:

·       Regular liaison with external and internal stakeholders

·       Represent Attraction Tickets Direct Germany with suppliers and industry partners in all areas.







·       Language – German should be your first language; An excellent understanding of German grammar, punctuation and spelling.

·       Literacy – Excellent writing skills, proficient in translating text from English to German. Must understand language structure and colloquial differences and be able to maintain and develop brand tone as you will be responsible for writing creative pieces for our German website and social media platforms. The ability to write in a clear, concise and engaging way for the target audience.


·       Attention to detail – Absolutely crucial as all communication must be both well-written and 100% accurate in terms of grammar and tone.

·       Excellent research and writing skills.

·       E-commerce – Should have an understanding of e-commerce and online sales and marketing principles

·       Organisational ability - Excellent organisational skills and time management. The ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

·       Communication – Must have a confident personality with excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate at all levels including external suppliers and internal departments

·       Flexibility - Flexible attitude to working hours in line with business needs

·       Energy & Tenacity - Desire to succeed, and have fun doing so

·       Experience of writing for the web on a personal blog or as a contributor to another publication.

·       Experience with Email dispatch programmes and writing sales and content focused customer emails

·       An interest in travel




·       Knowledge of the Orlando theme parks

·       A good understanding of on-page SEO techniques

·       A basic understanding of Email marketing, Paid Search and Display marketing

·       Knowledge of Affiliate Marketing

·       Basic understanding of Google Analytics

·       2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
