The Job:

The Seasonal Operations Coordinator will be a key part of the event planning & delivery team for our Germany events. This role is a fixed term, full-time position for 5 months (May – Sep). This role is a great opportunity for someone seeking a career in event management and operations to develop their skills and gain valuable experience. The Seasonal Operations Coordinator will be based in our London office in Brixton and report directly to the Operations Manager of the German Events.

The Work:

This exciting role comprises 3 distinct elements:

Event Delivery

  • Assist with general management of the Mudder Village, partner- & sponsor-servicing, and volunteer operations during the live event
  • Support in data capture during the event to help in analysis and product/operational development
  • Manage key suppliers on site, ensuring safe, timely and programmed delivery of services

Event Planning

  • Liaise with the Marketing team to provide event specific information packs for participants and spectators
  • Manage the production and printing of key event documentation
  • Develop and manage key contractor relationships including design and placement of relevant operational orders
  • Oversee event logistics and warehousing processes

Admin Support

  • Create purchase orders and ensure financial control documents are up to date and accurate
  • Support in creation of event documentation
  • Assist in providing customer services support across various platforms including volunteers and participants. This includes pre/post and live event phases

The Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a leading university
  • Fluent in German and English in a business environment is essential
  • Work experience in event planning, operations, project management or outdoor industry preferred
  • Experience in mass participation event planning preferred
  • Valid driver's license required
