    Hallo Community, ich bin 20 Jahre alt und habe im Sommer 2016 mein Abitur an einem katholischen Privatgymnasium abgelegt und möchte nun die Zeit bis zum Studienbeginn im Herbst 2017 dazu nutzen, einige Zeit in London zu leben und meine Englischkenntnisse zu vertiefen. Von Mai bis Dezember 2016 habe ich an unserer ortsansässigen Grundschule Flüchtlingskinder selbstständig betreut und ihnen Deutsch als Zweitsprache qualifiziert beigebracht und weiter gefördert. Die Arbeit und Betreuung der Kinder hat mir sehr gut gefallen, weswegen ich mich freuen würde als Au Pair/ Nanny zu arbeiten. Die Dauer meines Aufenthaltes wäre ab Februar/März bis zum Herbst ( genaueres kann privat abgeklärt werden). Vielleicht entspreche ich ja einem Anforderungsprofil von jemandem. Sehr geehrte Community!   Mein Name ist Julian Kuchar und ich bin 16 Jahre alt (4.3.2000) und komme aus Österreich/Gmünd , ich bin ein zielstrebiger, motivierter und ehrgeiziger Sportler der sehr gut im Team arbeiten kann. Es macht mir aber auch keine Probleme wenn ich auf mich alleine gestellt bin.   Ich bin auf der Suche nach einem Praktikum im Juli 2017. Ich besuche die 3.Klasse der HTL Hollabrunn Wirtschaftsingenieure / Logistik. Da ich innerhalb der 5 Jahre 2 Pflichtpraktiken absolvieren muss, dachte ich mir es wäre eine super Idee mein 2. Praktikum in London zu machen, da ich meine Englischkenntnisse verbessern will und ich mich der Herausforderung im Ausland zu arbeiten stellen möchte. Ich habe keine bestimmten Vorstellungen in welchem Bereich ich dieses absolvieren möchte, jedoch wäre es toll sich etwas dazu verdienen zu können.   11. Guten Abend an alle Mitglieder,   Auch Ich gehöre diesem Forum schon länger an und finde es sehr angenehm hier. Seit Jahren beschäftige ich mich mit der Auswanderung nach England. London habe ich öfter besucht, und ich kann mir sehr gut vorstellen dort zu leben. Für einen solchen Schritt brauche ich jedoch Unterstützung auf der Suche eines Arbeitsplatzes.   Kurz zu meiner Person: Ich bin Ioannis, 26 Jahre alt, und Deutscher mit griechischen Wurzeln. Ich beherrsche beide Sprachen, als Muttersprachler, fließend in Wort und Schrift. Dazu kommen auch meine Englischkenntnisse, die einem B2/C1-Niveau entsprechen. Vor kurzem beendete ich ein Praktikum in einer Kinder- und Menschenrechtsorganisation, das ich an meinem Studium der "International & European Studies" angeschlossen habe. Erfahrung kann ich auch während meines Bachelor-Studiums vorweisen, da ich für nationale & internationale Institute und Organisationen tätig war.   Mein größter Vorteil ist mein Wissenshunger und meine Bereitschaft mich mit schwierigen Aufgaben auseinander zu fassen und sie zu meistern. Aus diesem Grund kann ich mir vorstellen, mich in London in verschiedenen Bereichen und Arbeitstätigkeiten wiederzufinden.    Nun meine Bitte.   13. Hallo alle zusammen, ich habe mein Abitur jetzt fertig und plane im August für ein halbes Jahr nach London zu gehen und mich mit Nebenjobs durch zuschlagen. Alles, was ich aus Deutschland heraus versucht habe (Wohnung oder Job zu finden) ist gescheitert, also denke ich, muss man einfach hinfliegen und es von dort aus regeln.  -Hat von euch einer Erfahrung positiv wie negativ damit gemacht? -Kennt einer gute Börsen um Jobs oder Wohnungen (bzw. WGs) schnell zu finden, wenn ich vor Ort bin? -Muss ich eine Steuernummer oder so beantragen, wenn ich auf Mini Job Basis jobbe?     Ich freue mich über Rückmeldungen oder Verweise zu Erlebnisberichten :)   Max

Hallo DIL Forum,   Ich wollte mich erkundigen ob es möglich ist in England zu arbeiten (und zu wohnen) während in Deutschland ein Gewerbe angemeldet ist (Sowie einen Zweitwohnsitz).   Direkt nach der Schule hatte ich mich vor 7 Jahren Selbständig gemacht (IT-Bereich), 90% der Arbeit mache ich über das Internet weshalb ich im Prinzip von jedem Land aus arbeiten kann.   Theoretisch könnte ich mich mit dem Einkommen in England über Wasser halten, aber ich würde gern zusätzlich als Angestellter Geld verdienen.   Natürlich kann ich nicht gerade viel in mein CV schreiben außer der Selbständigkeit sowie freiwilliger Hilfe in internationalen Projekten.   Ich bedanke mich im voraus für eine Antwort.

Für alle Alt- und Neu-Londoner sowie eventuelle Wochenend-Besucher gibt es auch diesen Donnerstag wieder die traditionellen After Work Drinks... :icon_mrgreen:   Dieses Mal geht es ins The Dickens Inn, Tube Station Tower Hill, am Yachthafen  (Google Maps Link)       Fuer alle die das erste mal dabei sind, dies ist ein traditionelles Event das jeden Donnerstag stattfindet. Eine gute Moeglichkeit neue, interessante Leute zu treffen & Gleichgesinnte zu finden.   Los gehts ca. 18:30 Uhr. Wir hoffen auf reichlich Besuch. Wer sich gerne frueher treffen moechte, feel free to post it here. Erkennungszeichen: Ausschau nach deutsch sprechenden halten, meistens naehe der Bar zu finden oder auch draussen am rauchen :)
