  1. German Speaking Sales Assistant   About The Company WisdomTree Europe Ltd is an award winning Asset Management company focused on Exchange Traded Products. The company is fast growing in the European market, with its head office in New York. The ideal person would be multilingual and someone who thrives in a naturally dynamic company in high growth and launch phases. You will have at least a couple of years’ experience in a similar business development role and be keen to move to a firm which will offer the opportunity to grow with the business and team. As part of the Sales team you will be exposed to all facets of the business. This is a unique opportunity to have a direct and meaningful impact on the development of a business in its high growth stage. Over time this role could move into a mainstream sales role. Start date: Immediate Compensation: £25k p.a. + bonus Location: London   Job Description ·         Identify target lists of clients across Europe using the usual mediums such as Bloomberg, Linkedin, the firms CRM and any other reliable sources ·         Prepare phone pitches to be used for cold and follow up calling of prospective clients ·         Arrange meetings for senior members of the sales team to attend ·         Generate attendees for events the firm arranges from existing and new contacts ·         Assist at events and follow up where needed ·         Assist with queries from Research, Sales and Management teams Requirements Past Experience At least 12 months’ exposure to the finance sector within a relevant role in asset management, investment banking, broking and/or financial services, which would have included at least a few of the following: ·         Cold calling and setting up meetings with B2B clients ·         Resolving investor queries via telephone and email on a timely basis ·         Researching various sources to identify contacts and build databases ·         Understanding the basics of investment and investment products ·         ETF/ETP experience is a 'nice to have'; the desire to learn and become an expert in the field is a requirement Personal Qualities ·         Must be dogged, relentless and hard-skinned in lead generation and cold calling ·         Must be able to organise your day around the patterns of clients and maximise opportunities to catch them on the phone ·         Must be persuasive on the phone and in person in order to be productive ·         Reliable, diligent and with exceptional attention to detail ·         Strong verbal and written communication is an absolute requirement of this role ·         Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, team-based environment with a high degree of individual autonomy and direct honest feedback ·         Must be able to manage work and prioritise multiple assignments under tight deadlines ·         Motivated self-starter, showing creativity and energy ETF familiarity ·         Strong preference for individuals with experience interacting with investment advisers and/or fund managers ·         Prior familiarity with funds/ETFs/ETPs and other investment vehicles IT ·         Good MS skills including Word and Excel ·         Good understanding of basic statistics ·         Experience with Bloomberg or other financial database is a 'nice to have' Education ·         Good grades in a BSc or BA in business, economics, finance, accounting or any relevant degree
